MLB announces in-market streaming deal

As an @atlantabraves fan, this is almost the best news ever. In-market streaming of Braves games? Sweet!

…except it’s behind the same cable-company paywall I’m trying to avoid.

Only two pieces of news would be better than this:

  1. Letting cord-cutters stream local games, either through some Fox streaming service that doesn’t exist or as an add-on to MLB.tv. I am under no illusions that this would be cheap. And
  2. Some sort of promise that the Braves won’t suck in 2016. I’m under no illusions that this would ever happen.
